Apple Juice Kid remixed Louis Armstrong for the second season of Beautiful Warriors. I casted 7 of the most interesting women in my life at the time and shot, edited and scored the fine art films for the holiday season. Artist Trang Le took over design of the cover this year and hand painted some elements into a digital design that really defined the project. -

LOVE IS REALX
Philip Bailey of the legendary Earth Wind and Fire commissioned me to shoot a series of films in Europe for his latest EP. Along with my second camera, Cinque Northern, actress Sherina Manning and I traveled to Venice Italy, Paris France and London England to capture a dream sequence I wrote and directed. I styled the actress right down to the red YSL platform heels, designed the website and rearranged the music from the album to create the score. -

I Creative Directed the domestic and international interactive campaign for this Warner Brothers film starring Anthony Hopkins. I edited several different versions of the trailer to stream within Flash banners as well as oversaw the production of over 60 different advertising units that marketed this film.

Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest once again commissioned me to refresh his domain leading up to a summer European hiphop tour. I designed this site to be a starting point to reach all his social profiles. Jesse Von Doom of Cash Music provided some code and helped me really bring this design to life. -

BEAUTIFUL WARRIORS 3X
In this third season of Beautiful Warriors Apple Juice Kid remixed Frank Sinatra to provide the holiday backdrop to the fine art films. I casted a decidedly different group of women this year with two of the girls having undercuts and an African American girl with short blond hair. I also kept these videos shorter than previous years but widened the frame to show a bit more body. -

TRUE BLOOD 3 (iPad)X
HBO asked us to create an advertisement for True Blood 3 for the first ever issue of Wired Magazine on the iPad. We worked closely with the team from Wired to make use of their framework and provided all of the assets for the build. The ad featured one of the first views of the True Blood 3 ad campaign that we added just as the print department finished it. -

BLACK EYED PEASX
I was commissioned by the Black Eyed Peas to help them turn their online presence into a business. I designed a full social network for their fans with profiles, galleries, forums and videos using technology from BIA that created a platform for their Monkey Business album- the first album to include Fergie. This site quickly grew to 100k fans and has since past millions.

THE TOWNX
As Creative Director over the interactive campaign for the foreign and domestic releases of this Warner Brothers film I oversaw the implementation of 2 key designs into marketing vehicles such as banners, site takeovers and mobile units. I also edited several versions of the theatrical trailer for use within the foreign markets. -

I edited and animated several units for this Clint Eastwood film. In addition to overseeing the entire interactive campaign I also created specific edits of the trailer to be shown after the Japan earthquake that removed footage of the tsunami that is such a pivotal point in the film. We also created interactive units for Pandora, IMDB and Youtube. -

A TRIBE CALLED QUESTX
I created several sites for Tribe, taking over and revitalizing the brand online. I created graphics for multiple tour sites from 2k Sports Bounce to Rock The Bells as well as assisted band members with their social profiles and streaming content. The flagship site was a flash space scene that picked up where the song Find A Way left off. -

Director Adam Pesce allowed us to create the website and initial reference design for the print campaign of this indie documentary film. We presented several designs rich with the flavor of Papua New Guini that were ultimately combined to create the final presentation.

I also edited several versions of the theatrical trailer for use within the foreign markets. -

This project featured the web's first Mixfilm & Mixtape release as I collaborated with Freebass 808 to create this series of videos. Using footage from sci-fi films of the 60's and 70's I reworked the story lines to match the tone, pace and lyrics provided by Geechi Suede of Camp Lo. Apple Juice Kid produced this amazing album that was available for download along with the films for free. -

I animated and oversaw the creation of this interactive campaign for the HBO series from the makers of The Wire. Our designs matched the mood of the show about the energy of spirit of Louisiana after the flood. We developed a unique chant style animation that really drove the message home "Won't bow, don't know how".

I designed this micro site for Oliver Peoples limited edition line of vintage frames. Using still shots of Dragon Bookstore by The Social Trust and art direction from Patrick Wright I brought the scene to life with a roaring fire that I shot separately and composited, and background music from American Psycho. -

After screening this film at FOX we animated the full movie poster using only still images. It was the first time a movie poster had been turned into a trailer, telling the story of the film and ending on the keyart. -

I created several interactive properties to help launch this film from the writers of the SAW trilogy. From HeAlwaysTakesOne.com that featured a girl being held captive that could be saved if enough people visited, to 3 stages of full website design.

CROSSING OVERX
I animated and designed interactive marketing for this Harrison Ford film from The Weinstein Company. As one of the first motion pictures I worked on this film got the best of me, breaking me to the 40k file limit and the dimension of traditional internet advertising. I ultimately used mostly vector elements to generated a lot of motion within the limits. -

This creative image archive was born out of a desire to index the many photos and designs I collect while researching, in a way that was more visual. I developed the site by heavily modifying an existing PHP social networking web application. Until this day LabMassiv is still one of the most exquisite image collections you will find online with sorting by date, tags and color. -

I created this motion poster for director Rob Zombie's horror film Halloween 2. We shot an actor performing the actions and plants being blown by a fan on bluescreen and I composited them into a completely After Effects animated scene. The MPAA forced us to keep it short and to keep the woman's head out of view, just below the plants. -

I Creative Directed the interactive advertising campaign for HBO's comedy block for 2 years straight that featured the premiere of Funny or Die and The Rickey Gervais Show. I edited and animated the trailers to play within multiple Flash units and reworked the keyart, designed by my good friend Trang Le, to takeover IMDB, College Humor and FunnyOrDie.com

I shot Kanye West at the Video Music Award's for L'uomo Vouge. Stylist Rushka Bergman called me in to capture him in the look she created for the show. I shot backstage throughout the event and witnessed the ballet set come together in the final minutes before he went on stage. -

This video series started out as a promo shoot to launch the new VLOSS network. It turned into a 3 part preview episode to a new online show called FOXY. Starring Kylah Kim, FOXY was a story of a human hacker that manipulated men to get what she wanted. I wrote, directed, casted and scored this project. -

Nat King Cole provided the soundtrack to the first season of this holiday fine art film series. Shot in black & white over 2 weekends in November, this series launched in December to critical acclaim. The films were also remixed to create the viral video Super Boo by Kid Cudi. -

Working with PINT I designed the site for the NFL Chargers creating several new sections of the site and redefining existing ones. In the process I also had all the NFL helmets designed in 3D for gameday animations as well as rendered several signature blue lightening video sequences. -

After hearing Miles Davis Remixed by Apple Juice Kid I created a music video for it using public domain footage from the Archive. The footage was originally used as a PSA for heroine abuse. I edited to reframe the content and give it a new meaning.

Together with the founder of Yolk Magazine, Tommy Tam, I created a new vision for the brand which included a new website and a commercial campaign consisting on 4 films that dropped eggs from the sky. I shot the first film, a story of 2 girls fencing, in downtown LA. -
