My stromie Rochelle Ovitt dropped thru this past week to see what all the fuss was about and snap some frames in Battalion gear. I hadn’t seen her since we used to shoot catalogs for ABS. Needless to say, better days have come to us both. Since then she’s done CSI a few times and is on the brink of a really big acting career. Look out for this Hawaii native in BA and TV.

You member talking about the Maison Martin Margiela’s Fall 2008 collection? Yeah well they just came out with their collection for women. I’m really digging them… they’ve got some really crazy ideas. This year they had all the models rocking super huge turtleneck jackets and sweaters. And I mean huge… like elephantneck huge:

This past week was a fun one. My girl Britten stopped thru to check out the Battalion womynswear and snap a few frames. Needless to say, she wears it well. You’ll see much more of her in the lookbook and even sooner when the shop opens.

Speaking of the shop, we are a bit behind schedule on opening it. We thought it better to open it with a WOW than to just open it. We hope you’ll agree when you see. Soon.

By the way, Britten wears the BCYD of the LOGO vneck sleeveless in Olive from BattalionArmour.

The design on this concept phone for Coco Chanel is really pretty cool. At first I thought it was a cube which wouldn’t have sucked either. Turns out its a super flat 3G cellphone that is phat on style. Fred de Garilhe did an amazing job on this one.

Today we pause to remember Bob Marley on his birthday. As a fighter for love he has been a strong inspiration for us in all we do. We appreciate his example thru music and we hope to follow in his path.

Nike commercials are always memorable. They represent some of the best bits of motivational television I’ve seen. But… this one’s a bit freaky. I still like it tho… so you’ve been warned.

This year’s Superbowl was one of the funnest to watch. We love that the Giants stole the ring from the undefeated Patriots. Maybe its because we couldn’t find New England on the US map. Maybe its because we love New York. I think its because we’re always on the side of the underdog and this year they handed the Patriots a loss when they needed a win the most.

But who really watches the Superbowl for the football? We present our favorite commercial from the game. Maybe its because its a Hybrid. Maybe its the soundtrack. I think its because he never gave up. Never say Never.
